"I spend all day code-switching just to stay under the radar in Idaho. By the weekend, I’m exhausted. I needed a space where I didn't have to explain myself—where I could just drop the mask and breathe."
—Morgan, Caldwell

"I tried using the 'friends' mode on dating apps, but the lines always felt blurry. It’s exhausting trying to prove you aren't looking for a hookup. I just wanted a space where the intention to build a community was clear from day one."
—Jamie, 31, Boise

“I love my friends and I love their kids—honestly. But when everyone starts raising families, the dynamic shifts. It’s not anyone’s fault, but the
invites stop coming.
I needed to find a crew whose lifestyle still matched mine without feeling like I was being left behind."

"Navigating queer spaces while sober can be incredibly lonely. When the default meetup spot is a bar, you eventually start opting out just to protect your sobriety."

a note from the founder
For who you are now, not who you were then.
I started Clicked Connections because I was looking for something that didn’t exist: a space for connection that wasn’t defined by endless swiping or superficiality.
Reality is, our lives are constantly reshuffling. Even when we have great friends, we still experience moments of transition. Maybe you’ve changed, or the people around you have. Someone gets married, someone moves away, or your own interests evolve. Suddenly, the alignment shifts.
I believe that having good friends doesn't mean you’re "done" meeting new people. Expansion is not replacement. We all have parts of ourselves we haven’t fully uncovered yet, and because of that, there are "our people" we simply haven’t met.
I created Clicked Connections for who you are now, not who you were five years ago. Whether you need a hiking partner, a late-night laugh, or a deep conversation, I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for here.
